A fully owned subsidiary of Japan Rubber Company, which is a leading name in the global Off-Highway Tires business. The Company develops, manufactures, and retails agricultural, forestry, construction, industrial, material handling, mining, and off road automotive tires.
Around 10 sections in the plant were occupied with racks for the storage of spacers for a drum inventory of 4050 set. The racks were 7.5mtr x 3mtr x 3mtr in size utilizing NVA space in the plant and faced following problems.
To reduce the FSI of the plant in terms of storage by accommodating vertical storage system. We had installed the following Vertical lift module in order to easy & quick access of spacers for a drum inventory of 4050 sets.

After implementation, direct impact can be seen with space as well as drum change time which was reduced by average 4hrs due to reduction of searching time and following advantages was observed.
